As B-boy, Nabil Taghouti aka Nabiki has danced in France, all over Europe and the US and seeks to constantly expand the movement material in breakdancing or b-boying in his practice. He is part of the group Bad Trip Crew, co-founded by Saïdo Lehlouh, and a long-time collaborator of the French choreographer. As part of the performance program CORE curated by Lehlouh, the dancer will present a choreographic essay in the exhibition Dance Dance, Revolution at the Kunsthaus Hamburg. The performance reveals Nabiki's research process on the further development of a rebellious dance form and shows the movement practice of a brilliant dancer who strives to make his style accessible to a wide audience.
At the invitation of Kunstmeile Hamburg, French choreographer Saïdo Lehlouh presents an all-day performance program as part of the Kampnagel International Summer Festival. CORE presents performances by artists from Lehlouh's circle, creating new opportunities for encounters in dialog with the visual arts. The performance program extends over a whole day in all six exhibition venues of the Kunstmeile Hamburg and ends in a large-scale closing choreography with over 100 performers on the Rathausmarkt. It provides an insight into a diverse European scene that provides new, often genre-breaking impulses for contemporary dance emerging from hip hop culture. Many of the invited artists will also be seen as dancers in Saïdo Lehlouh's major stage work TÉMOIN, which will be shown at Kampnagel on the days before the Kunstmeilen Parcours.
