Internationale Fachkonferenz des Exzellenz-Clusters »Understanding Written Artefacts«

Seit den 2000er Jahren hat sich die zeitgenössische Tanz- und Performancekunst mit dem Verhältnis von Flüchtigem und Beständigem, Medialem und Materialem, Körperlichem und Stofflichem befasst. Ähnlich wie wissenschaftliche Forschungsrichtungen – Science and Technology Studies, Praxeologie oder New Materialism – haben sie dem Dinglichen, Stofflichen, Materialen einen Eigenwert und Eigensinn zugesprochen und eine anthropozentrische Sicht auf den Akteur*innenbegriff hinterfragt. Diese Entwicklungen und Reflexionen in Tanz- und Performancekunst sowie Wissenschaft will die Konferenz zur Diskussion stellen. Welches Material wird wie in Proben erzeugt, wie wird es genutzt, wie wird der künstlerische Prozess dokumentiert und archiviert?
